....studying for the sat?

maybe not waste, but just # of hours of prep.
just wanting to see if there is a correlation between # ofhours of prep and sat scores. ^_^

just estimate ur total hours and post ur sat score.

0 - 2250

really want to up my math score by 50+ points so I am prepping like mad between now and Oct. Haha.

hmmm... I say a total of what...maybe 6hrs ( doing practice sections and reading material)- 2270

So far... about 100 hours lol

like about 50-60 over winter break
it was worth it though(up 270 points)

3 hours the night before doing a practice test.......when I should have been studying for AP Bio.

Way too many for the score I received :-/

I'd say about ~30 hours and my score was 2010. :(

wow. We have so many geniouses who can study 0 or near 0 hours and ace a mindless unfair test.

total of 80 or so

It's heading towards about half an hour a day for the summer. Then after the Oct SAT Subject Tests, an hour a day.

I'd say about 15

ummmm like 150 hours... probably

went from like 1700s first practice to around the 2090

Big_al, how did you do on the SATs?

4 practice tests - 20 hours, all in the last two or three days before the test.. god, if only i had the self control to spread it out, i'm sure i'd get 2300-2400.

my first test score:
750CR/750M/660W weighted, or 720W unweighted;
1500 CR + M, 2160/2220 new SAT.

hopefully by oct or nov...

I studied for 3 hours a day and posted here for the rest of the day.
I'd say that, in the 8 months of school, I wasted 7.5 months.

I'd have to say almost 100--0_0 about 7 hours a day for 2 weeks
--2330

Going to study for 600 hours. Hopefully my score of about 2020 will rise.

i spent maybe 10-15 hours total and got a 2390. but my prep was spread out because I am including the prep I did for PSATs
