I sleep around 8-9 hours a day.
It is definitely time management.

I'm definitely surprised that more people than anticipated sleep around 8 hours, or even more.

As an addendum to the original question, add:
- "What time do you go to bed?"
- "What time do you wake up?"

Just curious how early people sleep at UCLA.

I usually go to bed by 12:30am. On weekdays, because my earliest class is at 9:00am, I wake up around 8-8:30am. During the weekend, I tend to wake up around 9-9:30am.

Night before 10:30 class, 1:30AM...getting up at 9AM. Night before...well, no class, 2-3AM, getting up at 10:30-11AM. :D

Emmeline,
Disgust?! At my daily beauty rest?

bruinboy,
I concur on the all-nighter before an exam. I have tried it once and it was the worst decision in my life!

You definitely start loosing focus on what you are doing. This dulls your ability to think critically, which you need for the task at hand.

Looks like I'm pulling an all nighter tonight and I dont even have much work.
Its 330 and i have to be up at 8 , im energized, so why bother

hey, occasional all nighters can be fun.
being nocturnal for 4 days cuz an all-nighter turned into an inability to sleep at night... not so fun.
i think i'm officially diurnal now :)
