How many Indians are there at RPI?

I am indian too and I am going there, I was just wondering how many others are Indian too...? Seems to be quite a lot

is that a problem roshni???

there is definitely a decent amount. not too much, but not too little. you guys excited?

There is a strong Indian population at the undergraduate level. The percentage is even higher for graduate students (TAs).

I do know that there is an Indian Students Alliance which is very active around campus. You should have no problem finding a cultural niche at RPI if that's what you want.

See you next year!!!

ISA: Indian Students Association, np but yeah Roshni There are plenty of Indian people at RPI

thanks everyone (except Bhoiwala :p)...my mentor is part of the Indian Students Alliance...so

are mentors actually helpful?

I think the mentoring program is wonderful. You can take as much or as little from it as you want. My mentor was very helpful to me, and I know a lot of people who had similar experiences. At the same time, I know plenty of people who never even met their mentors more than once, or at all.

how do you find out who your mentor is?

I think it's only for girls...

I really feel RPI better in mayny aspects and yet another factor…Though not a primary one…Cheers
