<p>I was just wondering, out of the 2300 kids that applied to Exeter does anyone know about how many were accepted and how many were put on the wait list? If you have any numbers from previous years that would help too.</p>

<p>It varies widely. This year most schools put more than usual on wait lists because they were not able to predict how the financial crisis will effect their yields--the number of those accepted who will decide to enroll.</p>
<p>More will probably come off the wait list this year than is typical because it's probable that a significant number who applied and were accepted are no longer able to afford the cost.</p>
<p>I would think that only those without FA need would be called from the WL though.</p>
