Home state is Florida, school is in Pennsylvania.

we are oos (ny), s has applied to several oos schools, especially in florida.

Home state Kansas, undergrad and medical schools are located in Nebraska.

We live in central Ohio. Son #1 went to Emory in Atlanta; son #2 is at University of Denver

My son will be going OOS.

home state Georgia, college in Massachusetts

applying only to OOS schools. I don't think it has anything to do with an overwhelming desire to get out of NY, although that may play into it. She doesn't like cold weather, however, and after spending the first 17 years of her life in Upstate NY she is interested in experiencing some semblance of Spring.

Are you guys talking about out of state public or just out of state in general?

she is looking at five private LACs and the College of William and Mary (which most people in our area think is private if they've even heard of it at all).

From West Virginia, at Virginia Tech.

if i get into the schools im applying to oos, then ill most likely go to one of them.

I used to be a resident in CA, then I moved abroad and my parents released their residency. so now I'm applying to CA and OR oos

Over 80% of my S classmates matriculate OOS. He's looking to continue the trend.

My daughter is planning on only applying OOS. We are in Texas, and right now her first choices are NYU and Northwestern.
