Right now the only thing that could pull me away would be Brown or Tufts, both of which i find out about tuesday, but if those don't work out I'm going to Duke.

princeton could take me away but i’ve decided that i don’t think i want to go to harvard if i get accepted so i’m thinkin i’ll pick duke if princeton’s a no. and even then duke’s still in the running

Right now, I’m not so sure about any of my east coast schools (Duke being the first of the east coast schools I have gotten into). I may think about Duke seriously if I get rejected from Stanford and UPenn.

My list of colleges right now from top choice to least interested in:

Stanford - admissions not ready until April 1st?

UPenn - admissions not ready until March 31st

USC - Accepted with Presidential Scholarship from NMF + it is on the west coast

Duke - just got accepted

Johns Hopkins -admissions unknown

Harvard -admissions unknown

University of Washington - got in with 4 years of tuition free (but status of Honors UW is unknown)

Yale - admissions unknown

University of Chicago - accepted, but not the school for me mainly because no engineering school

Washington University in St. Louis - waitlisted

I’m waiting on HYPS Pomona and Haverford. Accepted at Duke (probably no money), Rice (no money), UPitt (116k scholarship), and USD (70k scholarship). Waitlisted at WashU.

I’d love to go to Duke, but unfortunately it looks like it’s going to come down to money for me…and I’m either gonna end up at UPitt or USD =/

The only schools that could definitely pull me away are Harvard and Yale. Its a toss-up with Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, and Amherst right now. I’ll get more serious about my choice once March is over. It’ll probably come down to $.

Harvard or Yale could take me. Otherwise a tossup between Duke, Columbia, Princeton, and Pomona.

Dang… I just looked at Duke’s martial arts and their Tae Kwon Do club is dead… and they only have Shotokan Karate, which I am interested in, but I was hoping for Kyokushin (full contact) Karate. Looks like I probably won’t be going to Duke because good martial arts is a must for the college I go to.

^ Thats hardcore.

i’m really not sure yet…
i already have to decide between Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, Northwestern and Colgate (as an AMS scholar)
i guess it will all come down to where i get in out of the bajillion other schools i hear back from on tuesday and how much i like Duke when I visit, as well as the whole money aspect of things
are any of yall going to the Blue Devil Days?

i wanted to go to duke SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD! Duke accepted me w/ a decent financial package, but vandy gave me full tuition. So right now, i’m so confused… :(

what is duke’s yield rate?

yale decisions are not out yet…

at the moment, duke tops my list. i could have some seriously difficult decisions to make if everything works out on april 1, though! for now, i am just absolutely thrilled at the prospect of going to duke.

^ yeah, basically how I feel.

Decisions could be really tough if I get into just one more school (still waiting on 5 decisions). If I get into 2 or more, then the decision will prolly keep me up at night lol

My admissions officer sent me a nice hand-written postcard, thought it was a nice touch, if obvious :P

Duke’s # 1 for me right now; We’ll see how Tuesday goes! One of those schools could take me away from being a blue devil… I’m so excited though that Duke is an option!!!
