How many out of state residents are in the freshman class?

<p>I am out of state and i was wondering how many out of state residents are accepted per year at UNC compared to how many in state residents.</p>

<p>17-18% of the student population.</p>

<p>I believe about 11-12k students apply from out of state, so only about 2k-2.5k get in from that number...and of the students in the freshman class of approx 3500, I think about 700 are oos.</p>
