I interviewed with 10 large companies for internships sophomore year, but didn't get one offer. Some of my other peers got internship offers which are the same year as me, but I don't know if they are junior status. I've had several unpaid internships, but not like the ones my peers are getting ex: EY, Dow, Shell.

How Many People Actually Get Internships In College? What should I do if I don't get one before I graduate? I heard at my business school only 50% students have internshps, but everyone I seem to associate with seems to have one.

Not everyone gets internships. Honestly, it depends a lot on the major. But you’re probably already ahead as you’ve already had several, and are only a sophomore (?). No need to stress out about it; especially as you’ve had quite a few interviews with top companies. Take your experience with those interviews and improve, and you’ll be even more lethal in the interview room next time.

The trick is to not be picky about the internships you get/apply to, because you can used that for leverage next year for a different/better internship or job offer.

Companies, almost always, hire more full-time than interns AND the field can be less competitive because some of your previous competition accepted job offers after their internships. So, for me, getting job offers was much easier than getting intern offers.
