How many people are planning on turning marist down?

Did anyone write off Marist yet?

My son will be attending the overnight program for accepted students before making his decision.

My son is still considering Marist. He is considering Siena and St. Johns too! Wish this was done already. Why do you think people will be turning Marist down? Just wondering…

My son and two of his friends will be turning Marist down, they did not give them enough money. I hope their spots go to those who really want Marist badly. It is great and beautiful school , but I cannot justify spending that much money for it. Good luck.

Last year my son applied to 12 schools and he chose Marist over Lafayette, Pitt, Fordham, SUNY Binghamton, Drexel, UCONN and UMASS. When he compared the quality of the Education, the cost of attending and the ascendancy of the schools reputation it was actually a very easy choice for him. I can tell you that with the first year almost completed he is very happy with his decision and he has absolutely enjoyed and appreciated his first year.

My son went to the accepted students day on Sunday and then stayed for their overnight program. He attend a couple of classes on Monday. He spoke to a number of students and found out that more than a couple of the Communications majors had or are transferring to Ithaca. He’ll be turning down Marist.

Revisiting Ithaca for their accepted students day this coming weekend.
