<p>Haha, so wanted to do Britney, but realized ahead of time that people would use her for an example a lot. </p>
<p>So I made up a book about a singer who became a druggie, then used Anne Boleyn who ended up dying for her desire of fame and power, and lastly made up a friend who as he began to get locally famous became so cocky it was impossible to be friends with him.</p>
<p>LOL i was SO TEMPTED to use her. but i felt that lots of people will use her, so i didn't.</p>
<p>i didn't like the essay topic because there is absolutely NO books that dealt with it.</p>

<p>I used Charles Lindberg and Elvis Presley. Britney and Jay Gatsby work really well. A lot of my friends used Gatsby cause we just finished reading the novel. </p>

<p>I didn't. I used Heath Ledger and <em>dramatic music</em> Greta Garbo. I know; no one else has any idea who she was. I only know her because 1) I'm a theatre buff, and 2) I was in Babes in Arms last fall, which has a song which has a line about Greta Garbo (she was a famous French actress who broke under the stress of fame, retreated to the woods and lived the rest of her life as a hermit). It didn't even occur to me to use Britney Spears (but then, I had exactly 1 minute to come up with an outline) and I've followed her career since I was 11.</p>
