^the title pretty much says it all. i know lots of people bring their whole family and others keep it simple with just mom and dad, so why did you bring/plan to bring that amount of people??

Mom, Dad, brother and sister (both younger). They probably won’t be staying too long, and the more help to move in the better.

I’m just bringing my mom & dad. My sister doesn’t want to go for an 8-hour drive, so my parents are letting her stay home alone (she’s almost 17).

my mom and me :3

It was just me and my mom. My dad had to work, and my sister was already in school.

Moved in by myself. I’m an international student, and it didn’t make sense to fly my parents out here via a 15 hour flight just to send them back a few days later. I was fine.

It was my mom, sister, and I. My mom and sister came out of convenience. We were done moving in with just one trip from the car to room.

I just brought my (now ex) boyfriend. I think my parents came later, but after everything was unpacked. Quite frankly, it was just easier to drive separate since the car wasn’t that big.

I brought my dad and my step mom.

I’m not totally sure yet.

I really don’t want to take my sister, because although I love her, she loves to “help” a little too much. She’s 8 and has no social barriers (she’s autistic). She never listens. She doesn’t do well in new environments. She likes to run off. She gets overstimulated easily. All of those just make for a bad combo.

My mom might stay home. She might not. I’m definitely bringing my dad. Maybe my boyfriend. Who knows.

My mom and dad. I might also have to bring one of my uncles because one of my aunt’s coworkers gave me her son’s lofted bed frame since he just graduated this past May. I’m hoping my dad and mom can handle it though. Otherwise my dad’s best friend’s daughter is also going to the same school so he would come help! I’m extremely happy that my parent’s friends will be their because otherwise my mom would try to stay longer than needed/wanted. I’ll have to make sure to ask my roommate this question when I ask her what time she would like to move in. It’s nice that my whole family lives in the town so if she wants to move in first I can wait at someone’s house.

I brought my mom, dad, brother, and a cousin.

I plan on bringing my mom, my brother and myself. Dad will be working that day.

Just gonna be me

Just my mom.

Just me. If I ever need anything, my parents are less than 2 hours away.
