How many people have been accepted from waiting list?

My friend just got in off the waitlist!

where is s/he from?

EDIT: Nevermind, I saw she is from Alabama and had great stats. Good thing it turned out swell for her in the end.

Maxy... how did you know she is from Alabama... what's her ID???

I got off of the waitlist. And my stats are almost laughable by Duke standards (2130 SAT)...

hay 'theLastStop" , where are you from and when did u get in???
Congrats by the way... Do you know any intel. getting off the waitlist??

TheLastStop, CONGRATULATIONS! Where are you from? and what did you do to get off the waitlist?

kaloal, I searched Gobias' previous posts...

Are u all ppl who got accepted going to Duke??//

I was admitted off of the waitlist, however, I will not be attending.

I wish I could have gone to Blue Devil days; that would have been awesome.

An undergraduate education that will cost roughly 130K isn't worth it for me, but I will definitely look at Duke for grad school.

And to Fei, I'm not an international.

I got off the waitlist last saturday...the 12th? I knew I was at the top because my guidance counselor told me, but I elected not to write a letter because i did not want to commit myself to the school...fortunately I ended up getting off the waitlist anyway. Since, I did nothing to encourage the school, except visit it again, I was surprised that i was admitted. Now i have to choose between cornell and duke, someone give me their opinion on what theyd do.

I was in the same exact situation as you skyman--I enrolled at Cornell but I got off the Duke waitlist. I am now enrolled at Duke. Not an easy decision though; they are both great schools.

tell me about it, what were your intended majors, and why did you ultimately choose to change?

thanks for the inform, guys...
it reli soothed my anxiety...and Congratulations to those who got in!!!
All the best to skyman's tough decision^^
