<p>i'm applying for research positions right now but not sure how many i should apply for at once. i only want one position, but i feel like applying for more in case i don' get it. if i get more than one back, is it bad to turn them down?</p>
<p>I applied for research internships for the first time this fall and I can’t even remember how applications I sent. Probably around 25-30. I figured I’d get at least one from the first 10 apps but after not hearing back from anyone or getting messages that said the position was filled, I decided to keep applying. I ended up getting maybe 5 interviews. I was accepted for two positions and turned one down. I felt bad about it but I think it’s ok. Hope this helps!</p>
