How Many SAT 2s To Submit?

I know you are supposed to submit two SAT subject tests along with your application, but I was wondering if I can submit more?

I took the US History SAT 2 and got a 790 on it. I am planning on taking Math 1 and Literature and submitting them both. Since Math 1 is considered "easy" (even with the 780-800 I plan on getting), I wanted to supplement it with a harder test. Will the admissions office look at all 3 SAT subject tests or will they just take my two highest scores and ignore the other test?

ONce you meet a certain threshold, everything else is superfluous.

So I shouldn’t take a third one?

It completely depends on which college in Cornell you will apply to.

http://admissions.cornell.edu/sites/default/files/2013FreshmanRequirementsChart.pdf

All you should do is take the required, if any, SAT subject tests for the college in cornell you are applying to. If you get a 700+ on those tests, then you don’t really need any more SAT II’s. And I highly recommend taking Math II, if you are going to take a math. It really isn’t that much more difficult than Math I and it has a much better curve. For some cornell colleges that say SAT II’s aren’t required it would be best, I would still say, to have Math II and any other test of your choice.
