Dartmouth is a target school at most of the top banks and has strong recruiting, especially with the D-Plan and internships. I don't know all of the specifics, but I assume slipper will come in here and post the real data.

I am acquainted with a Dartmouth alum who got a job at Goldman Sachs right out of college.

Dartmouth does very well with the big banks and consulting firms. Dartmouth has 5/7 elite banks recruiting on its campus, only lagging Harvard, Princeton, and Wharton. Its incredibly strong in this area, stronger than most of its peers. Really only a couple of schools do better.

thanks a lot! i find it very useful. but i heard that greek life is an important part at dartmouth. people get a lot opportunities through sororiteis or fraternities. is it true? is she gonna be at a great disadvantage if she does not get involved?

From what I've heard, she will probably not be at a disadvantage, but I don't see why she shouldn't join one.

umm your daughter should join a sorority for the sisterhood and female-dominated social spaces. usefulness in getting a corporate job should not be the primary reason.
