I'm planning to double major in Education and Chinese. I absolutely love studying abroad, and will be taking a gap year. But after I'm in college, will I be able to study abroad again? If you can transfer credits, it will work out, right?

It really depends on your school. If you have the money and the time, I figure you can study abroad as many times as you want. Just make sure credits are transferring correctly so you graduate on time, or close to on time.

Most of the graduates I know who lived abroad after graduation worked as teachers, returned to the US and either continued in education or pursued a brand new industry. It sounds like you are setting yourself up nicely for a teaching opportunity in China.

Coincidentally, one of these individuals who continued an interest in study abroad just wrote a blog post about her experience selecting where to live. Tip #4 may be encouraging to you!
