How Many TImes Did you take the SATs??

<p>I took the SAT In may and scored
460 M, 540 V, 490 W</p>

<p>I took a course in summer. Worked in my practice book constantly.
HOWEVER I GOT
410 M, 530 V, 550 W</p>

<p>I am smart! I'm excellent at English, received all types of awards.</p>

<p>WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH MY SAT SCORES?
Advice?????!</p>

<p>SAT I: Three times (end of soph. year was a bad idea, jr. yr. October, jr. yr. March---highest score in March)
SAT II
Spanish once (jr. yr. November)
Bio twice (M in jr. yr. June, stone cold, no prep-----then sr. yr November, lot of prep)
Math II once
Chemistry once</p>

<p>you seemed very determined to do get top scores (which is a good thing!) but taking SAT's 3 and 4 times look desperate. You should limit taking each SAT to 2x. if you have scores like 770 and 780 then what's the point of paying money to take the tests again to gain only 30 or 20 pts? If you have over a 750 then that's great, it's not worth it to take it again, colleges will see a 770, 780, and 800 as practically the same score cause the difference is like one or two questions. It might actually be detrimental to take tests until you get an 800 cause (i'm not judging you, i'm just trying to give my two cents) it might make you look insecure and spoiled (after all it costs me 50 dollars to take the SAT, and with all the SAT's you listed, you're looking at a few hundred dollars)</p>

<p>I took the ACTs 2x and got the same score both times even though I spent hours studying inbetween June and October.
I have only taken the SATs 1x.</p>
