<p>Is 16 units of upper division math and cs courses in one semester too much?</p>

Math 126
CS 162
CS 170</p>
<p>As long as you don’t have more than one or two project classes, it’s probably fine (though it might be a bit of a stretch). I’m taking 3 CS + 1 math + 1 stat (+ 1 psych) this semester and it’s a bit tough, but taking it down to four sounds reasonable. (You still have to account for individual ability, though.)</p>
<p>CS courses with programming assignments or projects tend to be more time consuming than CS theory courses (e.g. 170, 172, 174) or math courses, though some find the latter type of courses more intellectually difficult.</p>
