I seriously only need that much.

Thanks in advance,

I seriously only need that much.

Thanks in advance,

Lol… You should be able to get that high of a score with no preparation at all…=P That is, if you know any English at all. Well, how to read English, specifically. Seeing as you could type that post, you should be fine. =P

If you want my tips though, I have a huge post I’ll paste in here.

Even just knowing basic vocab and reading comprehension should get you a 500 without any preparation.

If you’re shooting in the 650-800 range, definitely helps to have a good vocabulary.

*much vocab. Grammer= first step to a higher SAT score lol

Take a diagnostic. If you’re in the 400’s then we’ll talk. But odds are you could score in the 500-600 without any problem.

Regardless of your “base score,” memorizing a couple hundred to maybe a thousand AT MOST of completely new words should be enough and will hit the saturation point.

That would be appreciated, :D

Thanks everyone…

But I am not a native English speaker :/

Also, will there be questions like this?

[SparkNotes: Rational Expressions: Solving Rational Equations](Rational Expressions: Solving Rational Equations | SparkNotes)

I didn’t memorize anything and got a 720. But I also read a lot so that might be it.

Get DirectHits vocab and see how that works for you

Even if you’re not a native speaker, I wouldn’t recommend studying vocabulary specifically. Like ParthivNaresh, I didn’t study at all, but have always been a big reader. I got a 780. If you want to put in a bit more effort, my English teacher (who also teacher SAT prep courses at school) recommended reading for fun, but making a list of any words you don’t completely know the meaning of and looking them up at the end of each chapter. Each day, look back at the list and look up the ones you still aren’t sure about until you eventually remember them.
As a non-native speaker, have you thought about taking the TOEFL? It will show colleges that you’re able to communicate effectively in English, even if you aren’t necessarily so great at it that you can get a high CR score. Also, if schools know that you’re non-native, they’ll take your CR score with a grain of salt. I have a friend who had a 770 math but a 520 CR and it didn’t keep him from getting accepted to schools because he explained his situation in his essays.

I took IELTS without any revision and got 6.5 , the goal was 6.0 originally anyways - that’s how much they wanted. Yeah it does work , read for fun then look up for any words i never came accross with i managed to get a page or so.

It won’t work? (revising vocabs individually). I’m planning to memorize about 1500 words is that possible? (30 words a day) so far i’ve done almost 300 words.
