Hi guys Current junior here I was just wondering, how many schools did u apply to? both how many programs and how many regular undergrads (and which ones)?

I'm asking because I'll be applying to the programs next year and am just trying to get an idea even though I'll probably end up applying to 20 programs and nothing else ;)

Northwestern (HPME)
Brown (PLME)
Case Western ppsp
USC Bac/MD
Boston University 7 year liberal arts/MD
penn state 6/7 year program
u of pittsburgh
UIC guaranteed professional programs (IL instate thing)

i havent had much sucess with these programs, i didnt even get an interview for HPME, USC, and Case
only program i got into is BU, im still waiting for UIC

Programs: Rems, Plme, Hpme, R/Bay, HPM, PPSP, SMED, AMC, Sophie, Brooklyn
Undergrad: HYS, Upenn, Duke, and any needed above.

Don't do this many. It was rediculous amount of money and time. I had 30 applications, 10 Programs, 7 Interviews, 6 Program Acceptances (HPME, HPM, SMED, AMC, SD, Brooklyn), 3 Rejections (REMS, PLME, and R/Bay), and 1 retracted (PPSP). Confusing? Me too.

For Brooklyn, you have to be living in the "NYC area"... if you are from NJ then there should not be a problem. I tried applying but this is what the admissions director told me. You should consider UMDNJ's 7 year BA/MD prog.

I applied 19, and of those 19 I applied to the following programs:
Brown PLME
Northwestern HPME
Rice/Baylor
Rochester REMS
Boston U SMED
GW 7-year
Case Western PSSP

I got into Rice undergrad but rejected from every program (no interview) except for BU SMED. Luckily, I was admitted to BU's program.
