<p>I filed my fafsa on 4/10 (couple days ago) and i just received 14k from gift aid and im receiving around 8k from cal grant A.
so i only have to pay around 3k :)</p>
<p>I thought FAFSA filing ended in March? o__O</p>
<p>You can still file it but you get less</p>
<p>it was because i was accepted in april because the application was fowarded by sister campus. Reason was that i was in top 12%in california but did not get accepted in any UC’s that i applied.</p>

<p>You are wrong. Aid Distribution is on a first come first serve, in fact, they encourage kids to do so.</p>

<p>I doubt they give more money to people who submit first over someone who submits a few weeks/months later especially if the person submitting later is in greater need of financial aid over the early applicant.</p>
<p>Then again I could be wrong…just doesn’t make much sense imo. </p>
