how much are SAT scores weighed in canadian universities?

is it highly weighed like in the US or lightly wherein you doubt getting in with a really good score but average high school scores ?
I heard people can get in even without taking SAT !
-i am an international student with average high school scores but my SAT scores are high.
any input will be appreciated for sure.

When you say international do you mean American? Since only Americans, I believe, need to have SAT scores. If you are American, then SAT scores are weighted around the same with GPA - Canadian universities aren’t very holistic, as in if you have the right GPA and the right SAT’s then you get in. You can find these cutoffs on each Canadian University’s website (or you could e-mail the adcoms).

If you’re international, and not American, then SAT’s don’t matter at all. The Canadian university you apply to will evaluate you based on the grading system in your home country.
