How much can I improve my sat?

I have the Blue Book and on my first practice test I got an 1850.
I took the test a couple months ago with really any prep and got a 1500. Do you think I can get it up to a 2000. My critical reading on the real sat was a 460 which sucks a lot!

I personally find Critical Reading to be really hard to improve. It’s like you need hardcore reading experience to actually know what you’re doing. The vocabulary portion also sucks; it’s just too much to memorize.

BUT

You can definitely improve on the math section! Some of my friends are only decent at math. But with expensive SAT tutoring and lots of practice they were able to score in the high 700s. Apparently, if you get really used to the types of math question the SAT uses, you can ace it!

The writing portion can also be improved. First, review your BASIC grammar rules. You’ll be surprised about how much you didn’t know. You can almost certainly improve on the Multiple Choice portions of this section. For the essay…eh… it depends on how fast it takes for you to adjust to a new writing style.

I’m not sure if you can really get your score up to a 2000. I don’t hear about people improving their SAT scores by 500 points. Maybe you can raise your score by 200 points though.

Good luck!
