I'm a junior and I took the SATs for the first time in November. My scores are as follows:
Critical reading: 600
Math: 610
Writing: 600 (with an essay score of 8)
I would really like to bring up my score to a 2000+. Is this possible? And what can I do to improve individual sections? Any suggestions on how to bring up scores would be highly appreciated! Thank you!

I guess it’s just a matter of practice and maturity. First time I took SAT I scored only (or as much as) 1760. There were lots of factors that contributed to the overall score; these were among others stress, excitement, ignorance connected with the look of the test, etc. I retook SAT in Nov and my score improved by above 200. Do lots of practice tests and do not limit yourself to just one book. The best deal you can make is to buy a blue book, kaplan and do tests! thy the force be with you.
