What is the biggest range of improvement possible?

I took two SATs without any prep last week and got an average of 1940. Then I read 3 hours of Cracking the SAT by PR, and took two two tests yesterday and today and got 2110 and 2080 respectively. I am aiming for a mark around 2300 when I take the SAT in Oct. I will be studying A LOT this summer, but is it feasible to improve 200 more points? Any opinions/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated =)

I think so. A jump from 2100 to 2300, is 200 points, but when it comes to high scores like that, all you need is luck. Getting 1-3 less questiosn wrong per section is all you will probably need, so it is feasible, just gotta work hard/get lucky.

ya i find that kinda weird that if you get like 2 or 3 questions per section M CR W you can push your score up 10's of points...kinda annoying but good anyway

you mean sections like math cr writing, right ?

I agree. Its not like anything on the SAT is something you cannot learn, they are all skills/strategies/vocab words/etc... that one can learn with time, practice, and dedication.

I like to think that any score is possible with enough hard work and I'm glad people here too think such a feat is plausible.
