Im willing to work my bottom off and I have heard its possible. I went into my first sat without a minute of prep so give me tips. I just bought the official sat study guide and barrons sat writing workbook

He says people barley increase their SAT Scores but a couple of my friends have increased their score from 1700-1900 and finished off with SAT scores of 2100-2350

You can increase in you SAT as long as you put the time in. The SAT is not a test of intelligence (the old one actually was, 1600’s used to be auto-ivy before the new one came out), you can study for it like any other test. IT will take time to get better, but it is possible. Look around the forum to find some guides, check out the threads I have posted by looking at my profile, a couple of them deal with improvement tips. I went from a 192 PSAT to a 2300+ on my practice tests in a couple month, you just need to practice.

^ I second what the above poster said! I had 1180/1850 and I went to 1430/2100 and I’m retaking in Jan to raise it even more, so it is possible you just have to work for it. One thing I kept telling myself was, if I want to change my score I have to change the way I took the test, because obviously my previous method wasn’t working for me. So if you keep this mantra in mind and try different test-taking strategies you can see improvements.

It’s possible. Over a 7 month period I went from 1780 - 2230. And that counts many breaks in between. Luckily 1780 was a practice test for me, so I still have another shot to fix the 2230. :)
