I and a senior and my GPA is currently a 3.1uw/3.5w. I have a full schedule of classes for my senior year and the application for my #1 school (UNCO musical theater) is due May 2016, meaning they will consider my senior grades. Say I got all A’s in all of my classes, what is the maximum GPA increase that I can expect? Thanks.
3.4 is about the highest UW GPA you could get. Weighted, it will depend on how many APs you take and hoe they’re weighted.
Actually, less than what Sherpa said. six semesters avg 3.1 plus 1 semester at 4.0 is this:
6 x 3.1 = 18.6
18.6 + 4.0 = 22.6
22.6 ÷ 7 = 3.22
3.22 UW GPA is the max you can attain if you get a 4.0 this semester.
@T26E4 is right, but don’t let that discourage you from trying. A college admissions officer will be able to see the increase in your grades. If UNCO takes letters of recommendation, a senior year teacher discussing your improved academic performance and interest will help a lot. If not, you can discuss similarly in your application essay.
