here i mean non-financial aid, and I am from Canada.
I heard I have a big disadvantage on the admission process of the colleges in the states, then can anyone give me a specific idea about how big is the difference?

i heard that the UCs like to get internationals... im not sure if it's true or not, just what i've heard

dont think so, the proportion aint so good

bumpbumpbumpbump

Most schools are not need blind to international students (there are a few that are need blind to canadian and mexican citizens) so your ability to pay will be a factor in the admissions process because colleges are dealing with limited funds.

As an international student, you will be evaluated in the pool of other international candidates where there are many applicants for a handful of slots at each school.

is it that the colleges usually set up a certain proportion of international students and then in the admission internationals are competing to each other within that international pool?

I dont know about canadians but yes that would be the case.
