How much do extracurriculars matter to colleges?

So basically, I didn't take any clubs in school for freshman year, but I did participate in my church outside of school.
For sophmore year, I took 3 clubs- ceramics club, ethnicity-appreciation club, and the table tennis club. First of all, I hardly showed up to those clubs, and second of all, those clubs seem so terrible to put on college applications (compared to if I went to a math club). However, I was in an art program outside of school.
Then, this summer, I took an internship for a month and a half at a fashion company.
Also, I go to a performing arts high school, so art is treated as a major subject, meaning it holds the same grade value as math, science, etc. I take three mandatory art classes. My friends told me that taking clubs aren't necessary because I take 2 hours of art everyday as a major subject, unlike other high schools.
So my question is, are colleges looking for specific kinds of clubs? Will it matter to them that I took a job? I'm not in any sports teams, will that help/hurt my chances? Do my art classes matter to them?
Thanks so much!

It depends on the college you aim for.

If you’re aiming for the very top, ECs are the decisive factors.

If you’re aiming for CSUs, UMO, Canadian colleges not called UBC (and even for UBC what you already have is enough) or another college with an auto-admit plan, as long as you fulfill all the auto-admit conditions, no.

If you aim for accredited schools with easy academic acceptance, not much.
