I have a C in 1 out of 4 of my major prerequisites for my intended major which is anthropology and a couple W’s. How much will UC’s “appreciate” seeing an upward consistent trend? Specifically UCLA?
Generally, all institution value upward trends in GPA. For UCLA (or for any other specific institution), it’s difficult to quantify exactly HOW MUCH they value upward trends. Though I hope someone can perhaps offer a relevant anecdote, I’d take it with a grain of salt. Everybody’s application is different.
