It was for a traffic engineering firm. I had a lot of OT during the summer... maybe close to 100 hours worth.

Wow yall make alot of money during the summer. Any advice on what a freshman can prepare for to get a good summer job?

^I'm not a pro at this, but start applying early. Everyone starts applying mid-May, so the sooner the better! Just say that you can't start until after school ends. I'm not looking forward to finding a new job in the future.

good grades is key.

Would you say some of your professors could hook you up with a good summer job as a freshman? Or would that only be possible later on as a sophomore or junior?

^Are you talking about jobs (like at a store that every teenager gets) or like research/internship? I'm kinda confused.

how did you get that job?? Is there a special training program or something?

ok girl: Mainly internships but I guess both.

only if they really like you and know you well. with research you can always apply but they look at your resume'

alright thanks
