Wheee pointless threads!

I make $12.02/hour. I have no idea where the 2 cents comes from. Roughly $375 a week after taxes. I'd hate to have to live on that (yay parents!).

$20 an hour

wow, $20....what's your job lol?
and $12.02 isn't bad at all either

11$ an hour.

$7.15(10 chars)

I was making $6.00 plus tips before I quit.
I really miss those paychecks...

I make 8 dollars an hour at a clothing store.

240 a week before taxes

$11 p/hour, and I work 9-5, roughly.

I make a whopping $6.15 an hour teaching gymnastics and cheerleading skills.

How do you guys find jobs? Through Monster or something? Is 14 too young to look for a job?

$0/hr!
Yay for volunteering....

$6000 for 10 weeks.
Which I guess translates to $600/wk => $120/day => $15/hr if you work for 8 hours a day.
But I usually work for longer.

$12 an hour...but mandatory 10 hour days...plus every other saturday morning, so I get a good 10+ hours in there for time and a half. roughly $550 a week

I make $9 an hour in my research job on campus for one of my professors, and I'm living off that this summer. You get by pretty well, actually.

Well, it's not a "summer job", i've had it for 13 months, but $7.75/hour.

Also, in response to this:

Most people just go to different places and fill out applications. It's really not a complicated process, but it'd probably be difficult(if not impossible) for you to find a job, idk because i dont know your state's laws about the minimum age to be employeed. Plus, most places wont be hiring at this point in the summer anyway, try next year.

HURRAY FOR MINIMUM WAGE! $5.90 an hour, minus all the nice taxes

$11.50 an hour (not including taxes)

At the job I just work during the summer, I get $8.00 an hour. At the job I work year-round, $7.15. The ironic part is that I work more hours but do less actual work at the $8/hour job. :)

$25-$50 per hour

Jesus, where do you guys get jobs that pay $20/hr? hook me up with the company :D

Anywho, currently I'm working at a candy store in Colonial Williamsburg and I only get paid $7/hr. I'm taking summer school classes so I don't get a lot of hours, maybe... 18 hours a week.

I'm about to quit though, I just need to get another job lined up. One thing I'm looking at is to be an actor in the Performing Arts section of Colonial Williamsburg. They make $15.50/hr to perform a 10-minute scene once every half hour (or something like that). Then the whole month of December and April they get paid time and a half.

Just need to go audition soon.
