How much does applying early in rolling admissions help?

Im signed up for ACTs in October and i was wondering if applying early during the rolling admissions for Penn State and Pittsburgh with a 2050 SAT score is better than applying later on (such as early to mid novemeber instead of late september) with a 32-34 ACT score

I am also in a similar situation and would also like to know. Only difference is that I am applying during rolling admissions for U Michigan.

Applying early means that you will get your Yes or No from the college sooner, and if you need financial aid and/or on campus housing, you will be in line for those a bit sooner. If the school in question is your clear first choice, you can have most of it in the bag (except for the financial details which aren't available until after Jan.1 because of FAFSA) before winter break.

Now if your question is specifically "Can I get in with an SAT of 2050? That is a question to take to the admissions office itself.
