How much does being hispanic help?

I'm applying ED to Brown, EA to UChicago, and EA to MIT.

I have a 2350 on the SAT, 800 on the physics sat subject test, 790 on the math II sat, and 760 on the us history subject test. I have a 4.0 GPA at arguably the most rigorous school in my state.

My ecs are decent; nothing too spectacular, but not too bad. I have some science lab research, music and language awards, etc. I also am a national hispanic and national merit semi-finalist.

Anyway, how much would being hispanic help? I'm half white, half argentinian.

No one can really quantify it. If a school is looking for more diversity it may help a bit…you have the grades/SAT to be right in there with the typical admittee you are already where you need to be.

@collegeforalice‌ I hear that it helps to mention in your essays that you’re Hispanic. By this time, have you heard back from your applied colleges?
