<p>Hi, as the title says, i would like to know how much applying ED increases one's chance at top schools. I mean, is it almost a gurantee because the college can gurantee that you will come? Say like Stanford. Can you get into Stanford with "UC level stats" by applying early decision? Thanks.</p>
<p>It'll give you a boost, but keep in mind that many of the kids applying ED have excellent stats and ECs, and part of the reason they're applying early is the fact that they don't need their senior year to give them that extra boost.</p>
