Does early decision/action increase your chances no matter what?

<p>Does early decision/action increase your chances of getting admitted no matter what? Basically, asking if your grades aren't really good, will it still increase your chances.</p>

<p>Not unless you’re a standout canidate for some reason, besides grades. Then no.</p>

<p>if you are a reach for the school RD, they you probably wont magically became a match (assuming your school is relatively selective)</p>

<p>so if your grades are relatively low, then you shouldnt even mess with ED or EA?</p>

<p>Nobody will ever go “well, we would reject this guy, but he applied ED so let’s accept him instead”. So if your stats are low for the school you’re applying to, applying early won’t help, no.</p>
