I wrote an essay about "If you had the opportunity to do something different, what would it be, and how would you do it differently?" Since I am an international student I wrote about moving and how I regretted living in the past blahblahblah.

It tells a lot about my life, but it doesn't really reflect who I am, and it also does not talk much about the major I want (Biomedical engineering)

How much does Purdue University look at the essay? My SAT scores (2150, and 800 in both Math II and Chem) and GPA (3.8 uw) and ECs (few activities, 4, but all very very dedicated to. President of 1) are decent for Purdue. Should I send in this one, or should I write on the other topic regarding how the university will help me get my personal goals? That one would be more generic though, in my opinion.

What is your opinion?

Thanks :]
