stanford says they "strongly recommend" you take two SAT 2's, one being Math Level 2. I took SAT 2 American History and Spanish. I got a 680 in American History and a 750 in Spanish (but i'm Hispanic). Do you guys think i should take the Math one in January? When it comes down to it, will it really matter all that much? Does strongly recommend really mean "you better take it or else".

Also, do colleges even TAKE the january 28th SAT scores for RD?

I hope it doesn't count for a lot... I didn't take it.

I doubt Stanford take the Jan results though, considering how their apps are due Dec 1 and Dec 15--more than 2 months before they get results from jan SAT

i cancelled in november. my calculator decided to need new batteries twenty minutes in!

roar. college board hates meee

I also doubt they take Jan scores. I think what they said at the presentation I went to was that if you take the SAT2 math2 or math1, they will look at the score that makes you look the best and they will look at those scores instead of the SATI math if your SAT2 score is higher than your SAT1 score...haha did that make sense?
heh yeah stupid caluclators.

so that satII mathIIc is just another opportunity to better showcase your math skills?
