How much easier is it to get into Math and CS or Stats and CS compared to Engineering CS at UIUC?

UIUC = University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign

I have seen the freshman profile data for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering, but it doesn’t tell me about each specific major.
I’m wondering which of the three majors I listed in the title should be my first-choice major, since UIUC doesn’t let me select one of those as my second choice.

Getting into Grainger is the most difficult of the options. That would be CS within the engineering school. We were told by an AO that has a 12% admit rate (2019). The CS+X programs are slightly less competitive, but not by very much.

BTW, USNWR has UIUC’s CS program at a tie with that of Princeton. That means CS at UIUC is no safety for anyone.

CS through Grainger is the only one that has the option/possibility to earn a 5-year masters.

Per UIUC website, the CS and CS+X admission rate is 23% (1369/5861).
