<p>It seems to me, by the way that the common app is designed- (I quickly looked through it the other day) that you can choose which gpa, weighted or unweighted, to submit, if not both...is this true? And how about class rank? My school calculates both weighted and unweighted class rank- can I choose to only provide weighted class rank as long as I indicate it? Will I be looked at as unconfident or something negative if I were to only provide the weighted for both of these (if allowed, of course)? Thanks!</p>
<p>All of this may be moot. Do you know what your school is going to report on your transcript and on the Secondary School Report? If not, you can ask your guidance counselor. It’s a perfectly fair question.</p>
