during a regular school week how much time do you have to do absolutely nothing, like stare at a wall or watch grass grow?

Like none, you are talking to a bunch of overachievers. Probably less then an hour a week where I am can do truly nothing…

None really. Maybe an hour devoted to playing games and surfing just for fun.

This year I had too much. I’d usually choose free time over hw. Hopefully I’ll be more responsible this time around.

A lot more than I should. I procrastinate a lot.

Also, my school has block scheduling, which means you only have four classes at a time (but they’re longer). Somehow this makes the workload easier.

We don’t have many AP classes either. I only took three AP classes (but I took seven tests, so I always say I did seven :D) out of four offered this year.

85% video games, internet, practicing instrument
15% maybe less on hw, studying, reading, projects

I guess that would explain a 3.7 unweighted compared to the 4.0’s here, but I never really worry or stress too much about it.

At least 90% of my time

Zip. Nada. None.

80% not important
20% important stuff.

not including sleep.

More than I should have…

Probably more than I think.

A ton. If you don’t have free time, you’re really inefficient.

When I was a high schooler just a few months ago, I had tons of free time! I never studied and caught a case of Senioritis, so there was plenty of time to do all of the things that I love! I don’t think I’ll have this much free time when I start college next month, however

Junior year I had 1-2 hours of TV time a night, and still got high grades

I had absolutely no homework this past school year and rarely studied so I had a lot. Maybe too much. Most of my time was spent watching television shows on netflix and hanging out with my friends.

If you know how to spend/use your time correctly, then you should have no problem fitting in free time. I had a lot of free time junior year because I had a schedule.

During the school year I did at most 30 min of hw a day and spent the rest 6+ online…
then again I was a freshman and that might’ve explained my A-…

Whoever is saying no free time probably has free time considering they were on CC commenting on that post (and most likely many others)…

^True. Then again I take many breaks and goof off at times. During the summer, I have a ridiculous amount of free time.

I have more free time, honestly, than I should…I need to start a time consuming ec or something haha. But it’s not like I actually do nothing during my free time, I just relax a little or watch a rerun (or two)…
