How much harder is it to get into a UC from a CSU rather than a CCC?

Should I transfer? I'm a first year at SJSU and I want to transfer to Berkeley in 2 years, would it be a bad idea to stay at SJSU? But arent I too late for the fall semester at any community colleges... HELP!!!

I also need 15 units a semester to satisfy the Berkeley requirement, and i only have 10, and classes are filling up. I know what classes I want but its so hard to get in! AUGH.

California Community College transfers always have admission priority at UC campuses over transfer students from four-year universities, including CSUs and other UCs: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/transfer/tr_info_ccc.html For Berkeley transfer information specifically, you should contact:

Some community colleges are on the quarter system and will begin classes in September. There are many community colleges in the South Bay area, including De Anza College, and the first day there is September 22nd.
