I've done better junior year (3.55, 3.58 Semesters 1 and 2 respectively) than my overall GPA of 3.44. In fact, other than a slip in my sophomore year, all of my semesters are in the 3.5 range. Would adcoms look at this with any different spin than how I see it '3.44 GPA'?

Yes, the adcoms like to see an increase in performance, junior year is really important. Keep the rising GPA in senior year too, it will show a increase of academic commitment and maturity. They love to see that, and with boys especially.

Generally, in order of weight: jr > sr > soph > fr
