Thanks for the congrats … I hope you all hear soon, too. The waiting is stressful :(

“I sent my app in around the 2nd or 3rd week of October and I got my letter of admission today! I’m soo pumped. WE ARE”

Well you very well may be but I am still waiting on my results. I look forward to the day when I’ll be able to say that but for now I just wait. Hopefully…

uGH. I sent my app Oct. 3rd, and my SATs Oct 4th. They recieved my stuff on Oct 10th, and I’ve had the same message “…when a decision is made.” since then.

URGH same eromano333, it’s rough to see the same status every day ):

i applied september 1st and im still waiting… have had the same status for like a month now

For those who haven’t heard, what school did you apply to and what major? I applied on Sept. 27 to the School of Health and Human Services and my status has not changed since my information was received on Oct. 1. :/

I applied as a communications major, my application and scores were in on Sept 1 but my transcript did not get there until late Sept/ early October, UP as one and only option.

My grades are pretty mediocre, so Ill probably have to wait for a while.

I applied to the DUS undecided. all my stuff was in by October 18 and I’ve had the same status (the credentials one) since then.

New Status. Now it’s saying:

“High school course requirements have not been met for the chosen major.”

Okay that’s fine but if I wanted to change my schedule or even choose a major im more qualified for, how would I even notify admissions?

Jeeze 11scmetz, stop being so obsessed(; not like i checked my page about 30 times today… :P

allie i hate you. (: ahhahahahahahaha

Sigh my status went back to the first one today. (Your application has been received and is being reviewed. Thank you for applying to Penn State.)

To everyone who checks their status about 10 times a day (like myself haha) I just found on PSU website that they update the status once a day, before 8am (I tried to get on at 6am this morning, and it said the site was down for maintenance from 4am-8am, so I assume it changes then)

So,if you check it once after 8am & there’s no change, there is no point to checking it again until the next day. Thought this was just nice to know.

https://psu.intelliresponse.com/admissions/?requestType=NormalRequest&source=4&id=1512&question=What+is+the+status+of+my+application

P.S.- I still ended up checking my status about 3 times today, just incase I “read it wrong.” This wait is killing me! :P

Actually, I’ve seen my status change between 1-2 am

well that is technically before 8am. As for checking statuses. It does’t matter if PSU updated us once a week…we would all still be checking daily. I honestly don’t know how seniors got through this wait before the internet.

And this is getting so bad that Im starting to slack on my school work. Its not even senioritis becuase Im not being lazy Im just spending unhealthy amounts of times checking, reading and rereading my application status.

wait so is it true that if you’re average you find out later?? thats what someone told me but im not sure if its true…
