How much money do I need to show to the school?

Dear all,

I have some questions concerning application.
How much money do I need to show to the school when I apply?
The amount of the attending cost? or just really what I have in hand?
Or do I submit the financial certificate only after admission? If I expect to get financial aid, do I need to have the initial attending cost or the amount of minused the aid?

Thank you very much.

If you apply for financial aid, I believe what you have to do is submit a financial certificate that states that you have the attending cost minus the amount of the aid.

However, if you don't apply for financial aid, you should be able to pay all the fees (tuition, room, board, etc), so you must certify that you have at least that amount of money. In this case (you don't apply for financial aid), it is most likely that your available funds (the money you have in hand) are equal to or more than all the cost you will have to pay.

Is that the same case for scholarships?

I think so, if you know the amount of the scholarship beforehand and you're applying for it at the same time as when you apply for admission..
