I am right on the borderline for colleges like Boston College. I just got my report card a couple of days ago and I got straight As just as I hoped. I have four classes; however, one of my classes is at Wesleyan University so that is irrelevant to what I am talking about. Is the first school quarter the only grades the colleges see through senior year? Progress reports from the midpoint of the second quarter are due out in mid-December. Colleges most likely won't see these right? The reason I ask is because in my AP History class my teacher the average grade is about a C. Last year no one officially got above an B+; however, at the end of each quarter he changes the grades (he curves it more or less). Again, he only does this at the end of the quarter so I don't want colleges to see a probable flat B at the midway point of the second quarter.

In my school they send out first quarter grades only, and then mid-year grades for the mid-year reports. I don't think they'd send out pending grades...
