So I know that there are 2 hours of classes a day, but how long do you usually spend on work per day?

2 hours is it??? Where are you going?

But from what I’ve heard, for every hour you spend in class, you spend 2-3 on homework/studying outside.

how much time do you spend in class? I know most schools have 2 one hour/ninety minuet classes per day.

Well, yeah, the classes are abt. 1-2 hours long each. Though some of the chem/bio labs can be up to 4 hours long. I thought you were talking about between all your classes. That’s not even considered full-time. I’ve got about 2.5-3 hours of classes a day, and that’s minimal. I’m restricted because I’m a freshman. Next quarter I’ll be taking around 3.5-4 hours a day.

That’s a lot. What school do you go to? Are you’re gonna spend like 12 hours on work per day? That seems like a lot.

It depends. I’m on cruise control most days only doing stuff that is repetitive…like weekly homeworks or labs. But when an exam comes up I’ll spend 10 hours straight studying.

On a daily basis how much school work do you do? Also what school do you go to?

I’m taking 17 credits, so, I’ll be spending about 17 hours per week in class. Supposedly, you should spend about 2-3 hours per hour of class time studying at home. I should spend between 34-51 hours per week studying. I’m going to start by scheduling myself for 51 hours of study and then adjust down if I do alright. That’s about 7 hours and 20 minutes per day of studying in addition to class time. Because I have a daughter and no babysitter during the week, I’ll be studying only about 5 hours per day Tuesday-Friday and then make up for it with much longer study days on Saturday-Monday. I find it’s important to schedule exactly what time I will study for which class and set study goals and even study ahead on easy weeks since it always seems like the big assignments for every class are always due the same week.

On school work I probably work 2-3 hours a day outside of class. I work very quickly and I don’t spend too much time studying because I have a nearly photographic memory. It really depends on you and your classes.

Depends a lot on the day. Some days I don’t do any work at all and some days I’m doing things for a good part of the day. I don’t study much though so if I’m doing work it’s usually a project or paper or something.

uniman123, stop bumping like that. It’s OD irritating.

It’s well known that 2-3 hours per credit hour is ideal. There you go.

it depends. they say 2-3 hrs per class hour. some classes you wont need that, some you might need more. it really depends

For basic studies in things like math, reading, science, language arts & social studies, about 4 hours, about 4 days per week.

That doesn’t include all the classes, co-ops, field trips and other activities the kids are involved in that we just consider educational… they just consider them pursuing their interests.

It depends on what classes I’m taking. When I used to take writing class, I’d spent 5 hours a week writing essays and doing research. For some people, they can churn out a 5-page paper in an hour, but since I often get writer’s block, it takes me three hours to even come up with a good first paragraph that I like.
