How much to spend on back to school clothes?

How much do you guys spend on back to school clothes? I usually spend about a 100 or so but this year I'm going to spend about 200-300. Also, what are some suggestions for store with nice, reasonably priced clothes for men?

$0. Pros of having a uniform, baby!

Last year my mom spent over 1,000, but my brother had just moved out so I guess she was focusing all her attention on me for the day and got caught up in all the money she was spending.
But normally we just get new pants, tops and some sale summer items with our max being 500 and then I get other clothes throughout the school year.

My brother likes to shop at H&M and Forever 21 for men’s clothing- they’re decently priced and they look good. H&M has the more expensive, quality, good looking items of the two though.

I have a budget, so I’ll spend about 200 bucks or so. I’m getting tired of my murse lolz, so I’ll buy a new backpack, some jeans, a couple of cardigans, sweaters and some school supplies. I have some supplies I didn’t use from junior year so I don’t have to buy that much.

Probably nothing. I hate clothes shopping. I’ll probably buy shoes, though. So maybe $50.

Umm… new jordans. Lol. I have plenty of clothes. Dont find any use buying more evry yr.

Maybe a couple hundred? I mostly want new jeans, maybe a blazer and boots…a few tops are okay but I have a ton of those.

I don’t even know. I do know that ill need a lot of new clothes because apparently I got thinner. I only have a few shirts that fit me at the moment. I guess I have to down size to a medium.

Last year I spent $300
This year I’m probably just getting 1 or 2 pairs of shoes, and maybe some random shirts

$100, tops. I mean, I haven’t outgrown anything, and my wardrobe consists of jeans and different shirts to pick from, and a few jackets for winter. I just am too lazy to spend a bunch of time putting together complex outfits XD
I’ll probably get some new jeans to replace any with fraying, holes, etc. And a couple new shirts just to switch some out, but that’s about it.

It depends on what I see when I go shopping, but I am sure it will be less then $100. I go to a school for the arts where I major in visual arts, meaning most of my clothes will eventually get paint/dye/gesso/other random stuff on it, so I have learned not to spend too much on clothing…

I’ll probably get a couple new pairs of Vans and a pair of Converse then a couple concert Tees. It won’t be very much over $300 though.

I’m really confused right now. At my school, you won’t see the same person wearing the same thing twice. I’m not sure if it’s do to an affluence, but I’m not joking when I say people will question you if you wear the same shirt within two weeks of it the first time. I think a mix of smart shopping and about $300 will last me until the winter.

I don’t usually buy new clothes for each school year. I update my wardrobe (I feel weird calling my clothes a wardrobe, but we’ll roll with it) based on other factors. Usually when some of my clothes stop fitting. But I mean, I have some shirts from freshman year that I still wear as an incoming senior.

I do buy new shoes for each year though.

develop a style, yo. just be consistent and be yourself! wear what you wear classily/confidently, and no one will comment on how often you wear something. (& if they do, they are not. worth. your. time.)

anyway, places you can find basics to build on: jcrew, everlane, urban outfitters, uniqlo, to name a few.

(off soapbox)
