Hey guys ,
How much do you spend for clothes, and appearance in general .
I have some pretty cool Armani suits for special occasions ,each costs about 900$ ,but my
''every day'' clothes are not too expensive

Typically at one store I’d shell out at least $250.

My parents buy most of that stuff so I don’t really look at prices. I guess, for each time I seriously go shopping, I spend about $200 and I do that maybe 4 times a year. I also buy little odds and ends which probably add up. If I’m buying designer, my parents make me buy it, so things like Furla, Gucci, Coach purses (but I don’t buy Coach anymore. I just have a ton) and Hermes scarves, I have to buy. Those usually cost about $300 per.

^ *** are u rich?

wooooow

i spend 50 dollars every 4-6 months on clothes

usually get a sweatshirt, a t-shirt, and shoes

all on discount/sale prices

Depends what state of mind I’m in while shopping.

I probably spend more than I should. I’ll just say that I regularly get calls from sales associates, who personally know me, at department stores informing me of new products.

My parents can give me as much money for clothes as I want ,but this is not me ;}
I am not some shopping maniac and only buy what I need.Besides ,in my country clothes are fake, most of them are made in China ,and even if I buy a 250$ versace Tshirt ,it will probably some some cheap Turskish trash

I usually spend $500+ when I go shopping, which is like less then twice in a three month span.

Hmmm, about $20-$50 a year, though I don’t think I’ve bought anything for the past few years – I’m wearing the same clothes now that I was freshman year.

I buy a new 6 pair of socks every year, though.

This is my shiz

I usually spend 50 dollars-70 dollars at most on SALE and CLEARANCE at malls

I buy ONE pair of shoes every TWO years.
One sweatshirt every year
2 pair of jeans each year.
1-3 T-shirts
and One accessory

But recently, I’ve had the SAME clothes since Junior year and they look pretty good, also I buy A LOT of band shirts from Hot Topic and Concerts I attend, and I mostly buy MUSE merch.

ALSO

GREAT TIP FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN SD

San Isidro has an OUTLET MALL and EVERYTHING is about 50%+ retail price!

I’m with haiku and Moodrets.

i’m with haiku and moodrets and hilsa. not too much money to shell out here and there. most expensive of clothing i have is about 100 dollars? :P

Haiku, I’m so not rich. I just spend every cent I have. I’m really bad with money and I either hoard or spend. I was able to luck into a really east, well paying job (I sit for two hours on Saturday mornings and tell 7th graders to do math problems. At $15/hr).

I spend about $300-$400 a year on clothes, I think… and that’s mostly my parents, but I chip in for some stuff as well. However, that doesn’t count stuff like basketball shoes, which run about $100 a pair for me. But that’s a once a year expenditure, so it’s not that bad.

Just to add another dynamic to this thread, how much is your annual family income? How many people are in your family, and what other factors may affect your financial standing?

My dad makes about $110,000 a year… and we’ve got five people in our family total.

i only buy under armour, ralph lauren, lacoste, nautica, and sperry. i like to look for sales tho, but im very picky about my clothes, and yes i have more clothes than fits in my drawers and yes i am a guy. (i like to shop…*** u got a problem with that?)

Anyone who spends $800 on clothing a year, and up to $300 per - and says she isn’t rich - is in denial.

Anyways, I spend about $50 a year, and no more than $20 per.

LOL

well, you gotta learn how to spend money wisely… you never know when it may be scarce.

I don’t spend enough money on clothing as I would like. Though I’m only a junior in high school, and could spend an amount that satisfies me in the near future.

I spend about 500$ a year on clothing, mostly I have the tendency to get my clothes ripped up after a few months. I mostly buy on sale and wear my things until they fall apart.

I don’t spend very much on clothes, really. My mom gets into these fits where she’ll spend $100+/- on name-brand clothes to try to make me “girly”. If it were up to me, I’d live at WallyWorld.

I wear shoes until they fall apart-- and I wear clothes FOREVER. :]

My father makes about 40k, and my mom makes about 20k I think.
We have four people in our family, two pets, and my mother has to go to the doctors at least once a month for $45 per visit, she also got $8k in hospital bills a month ago that we just got the billing for.
