How Much Weight Does the Engineering School Place on GPA/Test Scores?

Title.
My GPA and SAT scores are competitive (5.16/5.3, 2390 Old SAT) and my EC’s are average, but I’m not sure my essays are quite as good as they should be. How much emphasis does the Engineering school place on GPA/test scores compared to essays?
